Three cameras for more creativity

The Mavic 3 Pro has placed three cameras under the drone, all of which have a different focal length. The main camera uses a large 20-megapixel MFT sensor with a Hasselblad lens. The second camera has a focal length of 70mm, while the third telephoto camera has 166mm. This way you can get closer to an object, without dangers. For example, think of wild animals or buildings. But a zoom camera also provides dramatic backgrounds, parallaxes and beautiful crops. It is easy to switch between the cameras by tapping the display.

Main camera with Hasselblad lens

The main camera has a Micro FourThirds sensor and uses a Hasselblad lens. The camera supports taking 12-bit RAW photos and has a dynamic range of 12.8 stops. The Hasselblad Natural Color Solution (HNCS) provides accurate colors and depth. It is also possible to take 20 megapixel RAW photos. A big advantage of this camera is that the aperture is variably adjustable from f/2.8 to f/11. Filming is possible at a maximum of 5.1K 50fps and 4K 120fps. Put the camera in 4K 60fps to also make Active Tracking work. Images can be recorded in 10-bit D-log to create a cinematic image.

The 70mm medium telephoto camera

The new 70mm camera is an alternative to digital zooming in from the main camera. The camera is placed on a 1/1.3” sensor. This sensor has 48 megapixels and the lens has a fixed aperture of f/2.8.

The 166mm telephoto camera

The 166mm telephoto camera uses a 1/2” 12 megapixel sensor and a fixed aperture of f/3.4. The maximum movie resolution is 4K 60fps, and it is possible to digitally zoom in up to 28x and take 12MP photos. This ensures that you can get extremely close to objects without endangering or disturbing the drone or the subject.

Long flight time of 43 minutes

You can stay in the air for up to 43 minutes with the DJI Mavic 3 Pro thanks to the large and renewed batteries. This enables long flight with changing light, without missing critical moments.

APAS 5.0 and obstacle detection

Safety comes first, and so the Mavic 3 Pro uses 8 wide-angle vision sensors and the APAS 5.0 system, which monitors the environment. The 360-degree sensors will stop the drone or fly smoothly around obstacles.

Cruising through the air

If you are going to fly a long distance, you can turn on the cruise control. This works the same as in a car, so the drone will fly at the same speed for a longer period of time without having to use the sticks.

Always a safe return

With the Advanced Return To Home (RTH) the drone calculates the safest and most efficient route back home. In that case, the drone does not always fly in a straight line and can avoid obstacles on the way home.

Smart features

DJI is known for its well-functioning intelligent functions. Think of FocusTrack, MasterShots, QuickShots and Panorama.

Focus track works with the Hasselblad and medium telephoto camera. An object is constantly tracked and kept in good view. ActiveTrack, Spotlight and Point of Interest are among the Focus Track functions.

Use Master Shots to automatically create a series of perfect and cinematic shots. The drone performs the maneuvers automatically in a self-set period.

The Quickshots function allows the drone to perform camera movements that can be tricky to do manually. Think of Drone, Rocket, Circle and Helix.

The Panorama function makes it possible to take lossless panorama photos of no less than 100 megapixels.

LightCut

LightCut is a quick way of previewing and AI-generated edits without having to download the image. This saves space on your smartphone, and you can get started quickly afterward.

DJI RC-RM330 Smart Controller

The DJI Smart Controller was introduced with the DJI Mini 3 Pro and can also be used with the Mavic 3 Pro. The controller has a built-in screen and C1 and C2 buttons. The battery can be charged in 1.5 hours and the remote control lasts up to 4 hours and can be charged via the USB-C connection. There are also a focus, recording, camera control, dial, gimbal dial, flight mode, flight pause and RTH buttons.

The Mavic 3 Pro Cine version

A DJI Mavic 3 Pro Cine is also available. This version has a built-in 1TB SSD and Apple ProRess 442 codecs built in.
