The Fujifilm X-S10 features an APS-C Trans BSI CMOS sensor with 26.1 megapixels. Thanks to BSI (Backside Illuminated) technology, information is recorded, and you get photos with more data and detail. Thanks to the X-Processor 4 image processor, you have a very fast camera that also ensures that you can set the ISO values far higher, without too much noise. You mainly use a higher ISO value when there is little natural light.
Fast focus system
The focusing system has 2.16 million phase-detection points spread over the entire sensor. This not only ensures that the object is always in focus, but also that the focus is very fast. Faces and eyes are quickly recognized, and the focus can easily follow them both. Even in low light, focusing is no problem. The focus recognizes objects down to -7Ev!
Internal image stabilization with 6 stops
The internal image stabilization in the Fujifilm X-S10 works on 5 axes and up to 6 stops of light. For photographers and filmmakers alike, it’s easy to film and shoot handheld or use slower shutter speeds. The digital image stabilization system (DIS) absorbs even more shocks, which means that the image is perfectly stable.
Manual and automatic modes
The great thing about the Fujifilm X-S10 is that it is easy to operate in both manual and semi-automatic mode. Thanks to the Auto/SP Scene Position recognition, the camera sets the settings itself. You can adjust this yourself afterwards so that you get the exact settings you want.
Filming in 4k 30fps and Full HD 240fps
In terms of film, you’re in the right place with the X-S10 and you can make video recordings at a maximum resolution of Ultra HD 4K at 30 frames per second. The images are recorded with a color depth of 4:2:0 8-bit on an SD card and in 4:2:2 10-bit if you connect an external recorder. If you would like to make slow-motion images, you can record up to 240 frames per second in Full HD mode.
Film simulations
